DID YOU KNOW… it all comes out in the Wash

Did you know that approximately 25% of a household’s residential water consumption is happening in your laundry room and it’s disappearing at the same rate as your missing socks. Washing laundry is very water intensive, especially if you own a conventional top loading washing machine. Top loaders can use between 39 and 43 gallons of water per load for the wash and rinse cycle combined! Using both water-saving practices as well as a high efficiency washing machine can reduce water use by half!

Scheduled Outage along Highland Knolls

On Thursday, February 16th from 9am till 5pm, HCMUD 81 will be performing a valve installation. During the installation 21300 block to 21518 block of Highland Knolls will be without water service.

Meeting Schedule

Public meetings take place on the 4th Monday of each month at noon at the administrative office of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 81, located at 805 Hidden Canyon, Katy, TX 77450, except in the months of November and December, when meetings are usually moved to the 3rd Monday due to the holidays.
